Just a day after my exam, my friend and I went to Malacca for a historical and mouth-watering food tour. It took one and a half hour bus journey from Terminal Bersepadu Selatan @ Bandar Tasik Selatan to Melaka Sentral. The bus fare is RM8.00 for normal bus and RM12.20 for the deluxe one (bigger seat). After arriving there, we check in to our hotel - Hotel Hong, a small, nice and clean hotel. The customer service there was really awesome, they provide us with travel guide, and even free transport back to Melaks Sentral, when we leave there. The hotel is fully equipped with A/C, fan, LCD TV, DVD Player, water heater shower, water dispenser... and the cost is just
RM70 for twin room per night. It situated near Jonker Walk and it is quite convenience for us to grab good food. It is also walkable to the historical area near Kota A'Famosa and also the shopping complex like Mahkota Parade and Dataran Merdeka Megamall. I booked it through
agoda, so i think it may help, if you are finding a hotel in Malacca. In this journey, we ate many kinds of foods such as Chicken Rice Ball, Satay Celup, Cendol, Nyonya Food ... and visited many places like Kota A'Famosa, Red House....

My result from this trip |
Can't believe that this is my first visit to this historical city. Poor me TT
From what we had learnt in our history class, Malacca is the most important place in Malaysia History. It was the place where Parameswara grown his kingdom and developed it into a important entrepot....and it had gone through the colonisation of different kingdom, Portuguese, Dutch, British and Japan. And so it full with historical feeling. In this city, you can calm yourself down from the busy life of big city and immerse yourself in the historical environment. It was really meaningful to visit the historical place, get to know more about our country's history and see what had been leave by the ancestor from decade...
But honestly, 2D1N trip was short, there are much more "secret" to be discovered by us...
I'm sure I will come back here in
future...
