Sarawak Laksa @ Laksa House

Sarawak Laksa (normal)
Sarawak Laksa only can be found in Sarawak. It was a dish that consists of vermicelli served with special broth and topped with sliced fried egg, chicken pieces, beansprout, and prawn. The special broth was made from soup cooked with prawn shell, added with special chilli paste and coconut milk.
Laksa House served the best laksa in Bintulu. It situated at Parkcity Commercial Square. The laksa comes with two size normal and big, the big one contain prawn. I like the thick broth that smell and taste really nice. The signature drink, green bean plus barley. The mixture of two kind of drinks create a special taste and it not only works while taste awesome. The stall also sell Sarawak Kolo Mee but halal one, cooked with vegetable oil and using the chicken pieces and sliced fried egg to substitute the barbequed pork and minced pork.
Green Bean + Barley
Kolo Mee

Kampua @ Selera Idaman Borneo

Kampua
Kampua is a dried noodle originated from Foochow people. The noodle was made from flour, egg...... The tasty of this dish come from the main ingredient-lard. The noddle was mixed with lard, green onion and fried red onions after being cooked. Some store using red onion oil or vegetable oil instead of lard for healthy purpose. Then, it was topped with sliced meat.
Pork Liver Soup
The dish goes well with pork liver soup. The fresh pork liver is cooked and put in the soup added with red wine. The aromatic of the soup and the noodle cause me always crave for it.
Selera Idaman Borneo located at Parkcity Commercial Square served the best kampua that I ever ate.

Kolo Mee @ 美佳茶室

Kolo Mee with Barbequed Pork Oil
Kolo Mee is a Chinese Food originated from Kuching. The thin, curly noodle is cooked with lard, red onion oil or the red barbequed pork(叉烧) oil, green onion and fried red onion. The noodle is topped with barbequed pork and minced pork.
美佳茶室 is a shop located at Parkcity Commercial Square, Bintulu. The noodle is special for me as it is really hard to find the noodle cooked with barbequed pork oil. The noodle taste really good with the fragrant of the oil. The minced meat also well marinated.

Tomato Mihun @ Chua Kee Seafood

Tomato Mihun
Tomato Mihun is a Chinese dish that I normally eat at Sarawak. Besides Mihun(vermicelli), it also can be cook with kueh teow and noodle. It is not same as Ying Yong, Hua Dan or Wet noodle. The fried noodle will be plated first. Then, the broth that made with tomato sauce, cooked with prawn, meat, egg, fish cake, vegetables and pork liver sometimes will be poured on it. I like the taste of the semi-sweet tomato broth combine with the noodle.
Chua Kee Seafood is a hawker stall located at Pasar Utama Bintulu. They specialised in noodle kind of food. There signature dishes are tomato noodle, wet noodle, tom yam noodle, and tomato noodle cooked with big prawn.
